C-Span for sure. Streaming video of what's on now, all three channels, and streaming audio of C-Span radio. Plus archives. An amazing service.

For that matter, every major online news source has video snippets these days, Washington Post, New York Times, BBC online, PBS.

All you need is Realplayer or Windows Media Player (some use Apple Quicktime) and speakers. You don't really need broadband but you'll lose your mind waiting unless you are a very patient person.
