Bogey, during the move from 70 to 50, the analysts were selling...once they sold....they put out the downgrades to move the stock further down so that they could jump in agian at a lower price.

On the flip side, they buy the stock before they put out an upgrade....these guys don't really care about us...their bonus is dependant on how much money their recommendations make for their company...not if you made money.

What other reason does any analyst have to publicly announce their position on a stock?? Maybe they are just a bunch of nice guys who want to share the profits with us. Kinda of like the guys who sell "How to make Millions" books on late night TV.
