James, Think they are aggressively building the system out. Once it is done it should be low maintaince expense. Also incurring expense of subscriber installations at this point. Start ups of this nature have major up front expenses. The $6mm debt is really low if you stop and think about it. Look at the last financial report and note the subscriber growth. They should hit a point that cash flow will cover expenses. Loans are being used rather then equity so that stock is not diluted. Hopefully, we have some good news on subscriber growth this quarter. Alcatel Appoints New Executives for Its U.S. Radio Group
RICHARDSON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 22, 1998--Alcatel Network Systems, Inc., a unit of Alcatel Alsthom based here, has named three executives to key positions serving the company's rapidly expanding Radio Products group: Jerry Lambert, Senior Director of Network Engineering and Customer Support; Allyson Sharp, Director, Marketing and Business Development; and Jerry Webster, Director, Broadband Radio Access Products.
In his new position, Lambert is responsible for program management, systems engineering, training, installation and testing. Lambert brings more than 30 years of experience in telecommunications to his new position, including work in the PCS (personal communications services) market and leading a Rockwell team that established Saudi Arabia's microwave network.
Sharp will be responsible for the group's marketing and business development efforts. She brings more than 20 years of Alcatel and Rockwell experience in sales, marketing and product management to her new position.
Webster will lead the team introducing Alcatel's new 9900 WW Broadband Radio Access system to the marketplace, with emphasis on the LMDS (local multipoint distribution service) sector. He brings more than 20 years of research and development experience in the areas of software, design and systems engineering to his new position.
