RE: "Wouldn't that be nice if Intel was truly immune to the Taiwan induced shortages. Intel management may actually believe that but I think they're deluding themselves....Don't be fooled by carefully worded press releases that give the impression that Taiwan fabs are back up to production."

Ron,

You made an incorrect assumption my information was off of a press release, rather than from the CC where Paul O said, "Intel was not impacted by the quake." I was not fooled by a press release, as I was not referring to one.

Intel executives have a fiduciary responsibility to be truthful and accurate, fly-by-posters do not.

RE: "He's fond of discussing Intel's... Put him to the test."

This is an extremely impolite paragraph.

RE: "Do you genuinely believe Taiwan will not hurt Intel CPU sales?"

If Intel said this, then I believe it.

RE: "INTC also has many 30% and 40% drawdowns. You may be willing to ride them out, I'm not."

And that's the difference between a trader and an investor.

RE: "Best of luck to you."

You too.

Regards,
Amy J
