Since the subject of free will has come up I taught I will share with the rest of the thread my toughs on the subject. Many people don't understand the will of God, so all kinds of doctrines evolve and they contradict what the Bible says. The will of God is divided as follows:
1. Personal will
2. Moral will
3. Sovereign will
1. The personal will is the plan of God for every person born in this world. This will of God can be disobeyed, and we can choose whether we will obey it or not. An example of this is found in the life of apostle Paul.

2. Moral will concerns the law God has given to judge man's conduct and to describe what is sin full and what is not. This can also can be ignored and we do have a choice whether we obey it or not. An example of the moral will of God is found in the ten commandments.

3. The sovereign will of God is the overall plan HE has concerning His creation. There in no one that can resist the sovereign will of God. Someone once described the will of God as a ocean liner going towards two separate destinations, we know the destinations but we have no say in running the ocean liner at all. Now on that ocean liner we can go any where and do anything we want but the decisions we make on the ship determines which destinations we arrive at. If we choose to believe in Christ then we will be with Him forever, if we choose to ignore His calling then we will go away from His presence into the everlasting lake of fire. May be some of you don't agree but this is what I see the Bible teaching. An example is found in the book of Jonah regarding Jonah going to preach, and warn Niniveh to repent. In the beginning Jonah refused but in the end God persuaded him to do it. Nuf preaching for tonight

God bless you

Joshua
