Not surprisingly, over 93% of respondents also own a film camera. However, 53% of those who owned both actually used the digital camera more often. Additionally, of those who paid $500 or more for their digital camera, 61% used it more often than the film camera.

Key findings:

* Over 75% of the respondents said they would likely buy another digital camera.

* Almost 94% of the respondents who print images from their digital camera said they used a personal printer.


I think that these are very important points. I see that a 5 year target for domination of the photo industry is well within reach. Also, if Epson continues to improve on its high quality, inexpensive, photorealistic inkjet printers there will be no need to go to the local photo developer at all.
