A world of difference, imo, at least as regards the point that was being made on the thread at the time.

"My point was not that Grainne should be embarrassed by her posts (I hope she isn't) but that the people who brought them up should see that their claims of hypocrisy, are in fact evidence of a more mature, less confrontational, posting style. Of course to see that, you would have to believe that such growth is a positive thing, and I'm sure not everyone would agree about that, since there are a million different view points out there."

That's what difference it makes- to me, anyway. Whether it makes one to you or not will depend on you.
