j g cordes, I think there will be a boom in notebook PCs as prices are coming down. The energy crisis is partly driving this: you have 2+ hours on battery power in case of outage and a notebook display uses 5W vs 100W for a CRT display. At 10 hours on per day this saves me $50 per year on my power bill.
