Java is NOT just a language like C++, BASIC, etc. Java started as
just another language but it has extended itself into a set of
concepts and technological breakthroughs. Please DO NOT
confuse the language with the technology. Java is a technology
that makes it possible for applications to be run over the net inside
browsers, etc. Java technology will make it possible for
componization to take place in software (the same way it occures
in hardware).
