Thanks, Frank - I suppose more information will emerge, in time. I am encouraged that Mr. van Waes intends to publish an FAQ. His participation in the Forum is as a member of the Fixed Wireless Access working group: ofdm-forum.com It is worth noting that there are two other working groups, Wireless LAN (Composed of Wireless Multimedia, Wireless LAN, and Wireless PAN); ofdm-forum.com and, Wireless Road Access ofdm-forum.com - so his remarks should perhaps be interpreted in the light of the working group from which he speaks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm sure Frank, that you've seen the rise and fall of many such consortia. What will come of it all is open to question, but I thought the perspective on the internal organization of the OFDM Forum, and the links, might help those who wish to investigate further.
