ENGLEWOOD, Colo., March 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Convergent Communications(TM) (Nasdaq: CONV - news), a provider of complete e-sourcing services and broadband IP-based business communications solutions, today reported consolidated revenue of $159.9 million for the year ended December 31, 1999, a 160 percent increase over 1998 revenue of $61.6 million.
Fourth-quarter revenues increased to $47.7 million, a 93 percent increase over 1998 fourth quarter revenues of $24.8 million.

``Our growth in 1999 was remarkable,' said Chairman and CEO John R. We are particularly excited about the opportunities in the e-sourcing arena, a business that will not only grow very quickly, but one that greatly
complements our broad array of business-to-business enterprise solutions.'

E-Sourcing is the management of communications solutions that allow enterprises (businesses) to leverage technology, systems
and networking resources -- including broadband Internet Protocol (IP) based applications -- without having to ``own' or
internally build and manage those resources.
