Because WH reporters are let in the WH almost every day.

The rightwing largely isn't gay hating. Even people who think homosexual behavior is sinful don't necessarily hate the sinners. For all of humanity are sinners who need salvation from their sins. Liberals don't understand this as they don't have a conception of sin or even a consistent moral code.

The leftwing claims to have compassion for gays but delighta in using charges of gayness as insults. You're a great example of that but you're not the only one.
