I think that's a wise move. I use Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit edition on my primary computer, but I built a new one recently with Red Hat Linux as the OS to accommodate my apps than only run in a Linux/Unix environment.

I can't believe how dumbed-down Windows 10 is. They removed tons of very useful features, broke many others, and ruined security. The new browser, Edge, may as well be called Jagged Edge. LOL!

I'm sure than some of the older, retired Microsoft programmers are perplexed over how the kiddies have ruined the OS first with 8, then 8.1, and now 10. It's quite unstable with tons of issues.
