Jack -- this is not specifically directed to you I'm not an expert on the use of the word "kingdom" in the Bible. I just want to say this: "kingdom" is used in many different contexts and with a number of meanings even in the discourses of Jesus in the Gospels. It is not any easy subject. Sometimes the kingdom appears to be synonomous with "church." Sometimes kingdom has a broader meaning including both all of creation and extent in time as well. All I'm saying is let's not beat each other over the head if we interpret a specific scripture differently than a brother. There is no doubt in my mind that with continued study and prayer each of our respective understanding of the term as it is used in many different contexts can be improved.
