Baloney.

It provides a medium for every pickpocket in the world to get on the airwaves and, at best, tout some miniscule event in a company's ongoing operation into an emergency of great importance that must be acted upon.

At worst, it conveys a total lack of quality information, often misguided dis-information, and uncomprehendable analysis crammed into catchy phrased teasers and sound bite blurbs between the "computer" generated pocket fisherman commercial breaks.
