Bringing LU into the ring as a "look see" is really idle speculation. I always like to explore alternatives. Whenever I've gone mountain climbing or white-water rafting or any other activity even remotely dangerous, I've try to check out "worst case scenarios." IF I lose my footing, what's the worst that can happen sort of thoughts. In Amati's case, what's the worst that can happen if we don't get Cisco? Actually, let's not forget JS said datacommunications and telecommunications. We've got two more partners in the wings. Not sure I want Amati on Cabot's list after what's happened to a few of its other picks. A mixed blessing, to be sure. Regards, Pat
