Two factor with the one time phone pass is excellent .... my comments were toward typical email account. As to ease of cracking passwords, for me its scary how quickly and easily to do so for one so inclined with fairly readily available "tools" and a current generation PC or network of same .... and most of the bad guys have access to very advanced tools and quite large hardware networks to multitask the crack process

Some "two factor" systems are not very robust but the phone call back with a one time pass really beefs it up.

However anytime something is compromised or its even a possibility then its always prudent to consider a change which is guaranteed to be a safer path than doing nothing.

Of course, all of this IMHO.
