Notice that there was no significant spill from the most recent incident.

There has been one significant oil drilling related spill in American waters since the 1960s. But supposedly now a moratorium on drilling is so vital... The reality is its a useless political stunt. It harms the economy, while most likely doing nothing to improve safety.
