Hello Dwight,
(Well maybe you aren't reading this, but I *had* to respond ...)
I'm now back from vacation and ready to get going again ... I actually couldn't get away completely and had to work several days ...
> Scott, > >Very patient, very calm, very friendly response.
Thanx. I've been trying very hard. I have found no reason to disrespect anyone on this list so far. Actually my respect for some of the contributors has grown even more. I was very happy to see Salah take the time to post once more, and explain in detail the evaluation of the Novell Q1 results. I have to say, I wouldn't have evaluated them in teh same way ... I'm not a numbers expert!
> But nothing that helps.
I'm sorry ... and I'm not.
> Tell us something that matters other than angry shareholders should > just wait because what they want could be worse than what they have.
I guess that this is why I'm sorry and why I'm not. I'm not here for your benefit. Actually I'm also one of those "angry shareholders" that you speak of. I also have asked for your professional answers to a couple of basic questions, that I don't have the experience to answer myself. And I have been met with zero. No answers. Well, imagine that ... I'm not here for you ... and you aren't here for me! I guess that we both can read/ignore each others postings.
My questions are now down to two simple ones:
1. What questions do you want answered, that I (as an employee/shareholder) can publically answer on this board?
2. What is the anticipated turn-around time if a new BOD and CEO are put in place?
Please provide your professional opinion ... I would really like to understand and help out ...
> There is a new thread for people who want to speak positively about > NOVL management. They would be glad to have you.
I have been monitoring that thread also ... but I like to hear the good and the bad. I know that you have problems with the situation that exists ... I want to better understand it ... and learn! If I read enough of this thread, and I'm somewhat intelligent, then I should start to somehow understand the problems that have been outlined, and understand the plan for correcting them.
> I for one will stop reading your posts because when I labor through > to the end I find that all I have done is waste time.
That is your choice. However the fact that you responded indicates that there is still something that my posts invokes ... I do really want to understand the foundation of your logic and position on Novell. If I understand that, I can see things from your perspective.
> It almost seems like that is your motivation.
No ... learning is my motivation. To understand your perspective, I have to understand the foundations of your reasoning.
> Not impatient, not upset, don't dislike you.
Likewise ...
> Just bored.
Likewise ...
