Hmmmmm.. yes, science has traced the urban psychopathia to a formerly rare brain disorder that comes from inhaling lawn grass clippings with malathion insecticide containing dioxin and eating vegetables with traces of mercury that settled in the Napa valley from the gold rush sluice boxes.
I figure the above is at least as believable as multi billion dollar gold placers in Bolivia, or micron fine gold in the deserts of Nevada with secret processes discovered by crooked Australian promoters.
Truth is stranger indeed than fiction. I am not really intending impugning the credulousness of silly conned investors but I have long struggled with why MYNG, Lydia von Anhalt of Lydia diamonds, Naxos Resources and IPMCF were able to raise millions in capital from obviously gullible people (from within these electronic pages no less..) -- money that would have already mined out actual gold I know is in the ground. I run the CMN for 4 years and tell people of dozens of good investments but when I tell people I have one of my own, with its own amazing (I guess unbelievable) details -- nobody believes me!
I suspected a vicious and disgusting rumour campaign from competing promoters or former run-ins. I know about the CDN government interference in Ontario and Ottawa. I know about the domestic terrorists threatening gold miners. (Sad, incredible, but true..) Perhaps the gold fields I talked about sound too exaggerated. Perhaps people just don't know what a real gold mine looks or sounds like. Perhaps they prefer a real promotion despite the crookedness potential, because they see the stock flying.. (more likely..as this effect is often true). If I had the money raised by crooks and stock pumpers who are in love with the mining promotion side effect of making money on telling stories about gold mines, then I would own at least two profitable producing gold mines by now.
I figure it must be evident I am on the level about gold and knowledgeable about its mineability, but often people prefer to believe people with out of work PhD's despite the fact that their game is chasing the first buck they can, as much as anyone out there. At least I can afford some integrity of purpose by my childish n
naivete that, yes, indeed, a gold mine can be developed and made money from -- else why a Barrick or a Dome? If I were to tell you I know of placers in the north that have 3000 drill holes in them by reliable outfits and would make a profit... I suppose you would have a dozen reasons why its so much tripe. but people tell you of Bolivian dreams without so much as one drill hole with any data and you run to buy stock. Why is that? I mean not to shoot you down about it.. I am not saying you are crazy.. but I don't see the seriousness or knowledge of that group..

Yes, seriously, 90% of the serial killers operate out of, or come from, California. It is a very strange, but true fact. 90% of the serial killers worldwide come from the USA in fact. They are almost unheard of in Europe and Asia. There may be social and "group-mixing" reasons for this. New states and states with lost of itinerant travellers or recent immigrants sometimes get a lot more crime. It could even be called the "westward drift of madness" effect. It may be due to a massive migration and population growth.. It may even be environmental. Whatever the reason, it is a demographic fact.
