But it could be bullying, too, depending on your attitude. Like I said, it's the expression coupled with the attitude. If you say "Merry Christmas" as a show of dominance, then it's bullying.

I think "Merry Christmas" is almost never a show of dominance. Even in the case with the guy who complained about the Christmas tree I'm not so sure it was about dominance, although it was intentional rudeness.
