Right on! i read that the murder rate in one part of Australia went up 300% after citizens firearms were confiscated!

Crimes like rape and robbery also increased.

i don't own my guns to hunt ducks and deer. I have never shot an animal, not even the human kind. But i want to own weapons to protect myself and my family should the need arise.

Some people say that certain arms aren't needed for hunting. So what? Of course certain firearms are made for killing humans! They talk like protection isn't a legitimate reason to own a gun.

And what are women and the elderly supposed to do? Practice judo and karate? Physically weaker people need to have a means to protect themselves if they don't feel safe. They don't need to go hunting.
