Global GPP Corp, a subsidiary of Internet Business's International Inc. Signs Agreement with IBM Solutions Provider Haitec of Hungary
BUDAPEST, Mar 30, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Global GPP Corp, a subsidiary of Internet Business's International Inc. (OTC BB: IBUI) Signs Agreement with IBM Solutions Provider Haitec of Hungary to Offer Free Web Site Strategic Planning, Web Site Development and Hosting to Businesses in Central and Eastern Europe; IBM Hungary Providing Marketing Support For The Program to Haitec; Expansion to Other Nations Planned by Global GPP Corp
Global GPP Corp, a subsidiary of USA-based Internet Business's International, Inc (OTC BB: IBUI) signed an agreement with the IBM Solutions Provider, Haitec of Hungary today. IBM Hungary and their IBM Solutions Provider, Haitec, will be introducing an offer for free web site strategic planning services and web site development services to businesses in Hungary who participate in the Global Group Purchase Program ("GGPP").
With funding from IBUI's Global GPP subsidiary, Haitec will work with GGPP clients to develop a strategy to sell the client's products and services on the Internet. Haitec will then use IBM E-Commerce Solutions to build a web site for GGPP clients, for free.
The GGPP is an Internet-based, Business-to-Business reverse auction service that helps companies reduce their cost of buying products and services. In reverse auctions, buyers list products and services they wish to purchase and suppliers bid to provide a lower price. This process delivers savings for buyers. Many products and services purchased by a business can be obtained for a lower price less through a reverse auction. It's simple to use and it delivers savings.
Fortune Magazine recently called reverse auctions "The Business-to-Business Tool That Really Is Changing the World". (www/fortune.com/fortune/2000/03/20/the.html) A recent USA Today article quoted projected reverse auction usage of $70 billion in 2000 with estimates of $1 trillion per year in usage by 2004. (www.usatoday.com/life/cyber/tech/cth286.htm).
The GGPP reverse auction service is free to GGPP Buyers. GGPP suppliers pay a small commission for services. The GGPP is owned and operated by Global GPP Corp, a subsidiary of Internet Business's International, Inc. (OTC BB: IBUI). The GGPP can be found at www.hungary.globalgpp.com. Auctions are scheduled to begin on Monday, 9 April 2000. IBUI plans on expanding the GGPP with other IBM Solutions Providers globally.
Businesses who make a commitment to participate in the GGPP through Haitec will receive free web site strategic planning and web site development services with a value linked to the value of their GGPP purchases. Businesses will save money through purchasing products and services through the GGPP and also receive free web site services from Haitec.
