Financial markets, both here and abroad, get their marching orders from the long bond. Any divergence is bound to be either short-lived or crashed.

IMO, the long bond is in the process of discounting a number of bearish economic reports released last week that, for a moment, got overshadowed by the SEA currency crisis.
