JR, Doren, Marc, HerbVic. Thanks for your comments and support. HerbVic, sorry if I sounded a little rough but you got in my line of sight before I had my coffee.

Marc, as far as NC's, there has not been much thought given to it mainly because the technology is still considered widely unproven and will likely be at least another year to year and a half before any serious discussions or proposals will take place (at least for us). And because of the issues I brought up, some of this might be a tough sell. As far as future monies are concerned, a large portion for us will be spent on getting Internet connectivity onto all the campuses and then wiring up the classrooms. Some schools have more network access than others and that imbalance has to be equalized. Some teachers have gone so far as to donate their own time and money to get the ball rolling. Computer purchases will have to be analyzed accordingly. If there is a substantial per unit cost differential between say a Mac and Windows machine, that may have to be justified. Those schools that are being wooed by Wintel vendors and are in their upgrade cycle might find it hard to stay with Macs though because they will narrowly focus on per unit cost. That is just another battle.
