All their profuse and dramatic rhetoric aside, you have to wonder at the true motivations of the US-resident ex-cubano industry as represented by FNAC et al - Why do they want to keep this old dinosaur in power? ... some fantasy hope that if maintained long enough the batistianos will rule again on change of power, that cubanos of today will welcome with open arms a few moneyed families and the dregs of the US mob to come in and own all their land and organise their affairs for them just like the good ole days? .... well i've spoken with a few cubanos, and have yet to meet one who wants this
