Merrill has Biogen as both short and long term buy. I interviewed Jim McCamant of the Medical Technology Letter last week for Mark Johnson's IFC site on Silicon Investor and asked him what he thought of the company. McCamant was not real high on the company - which was surprising because Jim Oberweis liked the company and I had talked to him a few weeks earlier. You can listen to his specific comments on Biogen by going to audioinvestor.com - if you don't want to listen to the entire interview go to minute 22 of the 25 minute tape to hear his take. I'm not long or short here - but I usually rely on Merrill's research and it has done me well in this sector. He took his biggest shot at Amgen a few minutes earlier in the interview.
