I see I have another one that doesn't routinely back-up her important information.<g>

Assuming you are using Windows, the way I would do it would be to go to "start" to "all programs" to "accessories" to "window explorer". I would then locate the folder on the left side of the screen that contains the information and right click the mouse on the address book on the right side of the screen and choose "send to" and send the entire address book to either a floppy or recordable CD with a single click. I would then send it back to the same place on the new drive. I don't know where AOL sticks their information. On my computer, my address book is found under My Computers at the following address: "C:\Program_Files\Outlook_Express\web.exe" Also, the folder should be somewhere where it is included when you do a regular back-up of your files.<g> Note the file name that contains my address book is called "web" not "address book".

There may be an easier way. I would recommend asking the same question on the "computer learning" thread and see what they recommend:

Subject 22366

I am sure there are some over there that knows where AOL hides their stuff.
