Kerry is one of many Dem leaders who is determined to reverse course. There is an editorial today in the NY Times about how the industry groups which got all the multi-billion dollar gifts from the Bushie rightwing are now bracing themselves as DEmocrats are going to rescind all those sweetheart deals, all of which Bushies made at the expense of consumers, taxpayers and the environment.

I am very supportive of this. My interest in Kerry simply has to do with making sure the smears don't hurt him unfairly again. It was tragic and outrageous what Bushies did to him in 2004 (and McCain in 2000, and Cleland in 2002) and also how they made such a huge deal out of the botched joke.

I saw Jerome Corsi of the smearvets on TV today. His big thing now is lying to the public that Arab terrorists are coming across the Mexican border. It feeds into his general racism against everyone but conservative white protestants. Corsi and John O'Neill are truly evil people, as are those who back them.
