That's a rightwing lie. Clinton was never offered Osama Bin laden. and he tried to kill him many-many times, against the complaints of many rightwingers I might add, though some did support Clinton's 150 cruise missile attack on Al Qaida.

Bush never tied to do anything against Al Qaida or Osama despite the fact that by 2001 Osama was implicated in the USS Cole as well as the African bombings. The USS Cole happened at the very end of Clinton's watch and Osama was not the proven culprit until February 2001, Bush did nothing about it. Zero. Not a single phjonecall or meeting. Nothing.

There are some who believe Bush is somehow inmplicated in 9-11 himself. I don't believe it, but if not he surely was guilty of gross dereliction of duty.
