Another thing.....I read somewhere (the.street?) that money managers are going to be asked on Friday and they know it: "HAVE you TAKEN any money off the table this week??" and they are not going to wait till Friday to do it and are not going to say.....no......(weakly)... So that is another reason. It is like a forest fire out there.....one thing igniting another. Profit taking....fear......margin calls....drops.....fear....profit taking.....margin calls.... It feeds all on itself ..... makes a forest fire Autumn
