Hi Tony, not much activity over at the AMAT thread lately.

No, I don't think this is the cause of the market tanking today. I think it has to do with earnings, profit taking and PCs more than anything. OPEC has done this before and nothing has really come of it. Take a look at the oil stocks and you can see they are down today along with everything else. This in spite of the fact the May Crude future is up .37 cents to $15.73 a bbl.
Quite frankly, I would like to see this as a catalyst of some kind to have the oil sector stocks in my portfolio join the bull run we have been enjoying.
Will oil at $16 or $18 a bbl "fuel" {I think that is a pun isn't it?}inflation? I doubt it. Best regards, Jeff
