"Both sides" (in quotes because there are a lot of different opinions about a complex multi-faceted issue, not really two sides) might say that, but the truth is that more is spent on promoting/researching/fighting global warming. They clearly spend a lot more. Not that who spends more means a lot. Its not really a big issue, and says little or nothing about the merits of any of the various positions on this issue.
