At this point, we don't know if we have legitamate recourse for having been lied to. This creates a wave of distrust and an attitute tactical pre-emptiveness that moves through every element of society. Monica and Bill are both victims of their own self indulgiance. We are innocent victims of their irresponsible behavior, regardless of who else we think are bad guys in the political mix of this thing.
