Nice post Jay IMO.
A long time ago, so it seems now, somewhere on this thread I said I saw no war between the US and China, that the US needs China. I think this is more true now, and Mr. Bush should choose his friends wisely. The interests of the US on the world stage will become more similar to China's as time passes. Irrespective of current political differences etc. due the size and makeup of these two countries they will many face similar problems and as China moves more towards democracy this will become more evident.

Well, I'm off to earn some money to pay some bills.
