MO, Great analogy.My best marathons were when I never let my heart rate take me anaroebic too soon.This allowed the last few miles to be the fastest vs hitting the wall. Pent up shorts - staying wrong long will provide the final fuel of the "recognition wave". The next capitulation we'll see will from the hardheaded shorts who'll give it all back to the weak economy bears that didn't allow Mr. Market to anticipate the global recovery. This recovery has been set in place with the future flowing of cheap energy.A competitive landscape of Oil at low prices is being established under the horizon right now. Terrorism will exist,but be on the wane as Russia,Opec,Iraq and several African countries all shuffle to gain resource wealth from shipping oil. We're back to competition not controlled pricing in the oil world - for the long term. As the cheap dollar primes our engine - we will once again get Europe and Japan reprimed. The lesson of Iraq is U.S. must do what is best for the U.S. and then the world will follow. Cheap dollar is not a worry - it is the implementation of getting the Biggest pump primed and watch the world catch on - cheap oil being a great primer. The refusal of shorts to cover,with a positive bias (buyers buying because prices are rising) will bring about a recognition wave ( Chief's Epicenter Wave 3). It will be caused by the capitulation of the bears that stayed wrong - long. Bob JHMO
