Come on - world's biggest and baddest companies are in US employing a lot of people. Let's not dump on ourselves too much. Negativity breeds more of itself. Really, some of the jobs we have exported were going to go away anyway either through automation or through cheap labor whichever is cheaper. Nothing can be done about it. At least we can sell something to cheap labor being created abroad. Automation will come next.
