You see what troubles me about this one Elmo, is that, yes, HP is loading it on their servers, but "providing a key" "IF" the customers "want" Netware. I believe if customers wipe if off, they don't collect a license, hence no revenue. I "think" that's the way it works. Just because a Hardware company makes an OS available, doesn't mean the software company can collect fees unless it's activated by the purchaser. If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me.

This reminds of the dual pre-loads of OS/2 and WIN95 on IBM boxes. The called it "select-a-system" or something like that.

Win95 got installed and OS/2 got wiped. It seems to me this is the same thing only it's between Net Ware and NT. I dunno, we don't have a full story here, but it's not as good as "HP - NOW SHIPPING INTRNETWARE "EXCLUSIVELY" ON ALL SERVERS!" - get what I mean?

Joe..<As always, my opinions are my own and mine only>

SCOTT: WOULD YOU LIKE TO COMMENT ON THIS ONE ALSO?
