Holocaust Denial at Yahoo News

Little Green Footballs

US forces in Iraq have captured an American citizen, described as a senior associate of terrorist leader Abu Musab Zarqawi: Zarqawi Aide Held by U.S. Military in Iraq. (Hat tip: SoCalJustice.)

But the really disturbing part of this story at Yahoo News
is the fact that in their “Full Coverage” sidebar, they link to an article titled “Iraq: A war for Israel?” at the radical Islamic web site AlJazeera.com (a different, far more extreme site than the Al Jazeera TV site) ... by Mark Weber.

Mark Weber is the director of the Institute for Historical Review, the notorious antisemitic Holocaust denying organization. So Yahoo News is now presenting the work of Holocaust deniers as legitimate “opinion,” linked to an Islamic extremist web site
.

Unbelievable.

Here’s a screen shot:

UPDATE at 4/1/05 11:37:53 am:

The link to Mark Weber’s article is now gone. (That’s why I took the screenshot.)
