Feelings Thread Terms of Abuse
Your posting on the Feelings Thread is subject to the following terms and conditions, as the same may be changed from time to time arbitrarily and at the expressed whim of the Threadmaster-of-the-moment:
Because Feelings Threadites DO undertake to screen or edit all messages posted by users, you may be attacked (assertively challenged) if you exhibit ignorance or knowledge, irrationality or rationality, beer hall manners or a scholarly persona -- or just plain open your mouth.
The Feeling Thread grants no guarantees or warranties of any kind, whether you are in need or not, are born again or not, were just accepted to Harvard or thrown out of high school on your illustrious (r)ear.
NOTE: The following actions, among others, may result in applause and recognition, or total ignominy:
1. Posting messages that include personal attacks, slurs or profanity, or that otherwise are intended to harass any other member of the community, unless done creatively and in good taste.
2. Posting messages that include vicious, irresponsible, unwarranted praise (to be arbitrarily defined on a case-by-case basis by whomever).
3. Posting any material about Madonna.
4. Posting any derogatory remarks about any personage, including Josef Stalin and Adolph Hitler ( the historians are currently busy massaging the images of these two for the revisionistic history books of the 21st Century. We do not want to upset billion dollar publishing empires.)
5. Impersonating someone else (such as "Father" Terrence, or "John Galt").
6. Drinking cola, instead of coffee with breakfast.
7. Wearing green on any day except St. Pat's.
8. Calling Native Americans "Indians", the physically challenged, "cripples", or Father Terrence a "liberal" or "conservative".
9. The use of inflammatory rhetoric about the federal government, past presidents, the DEA, FBI, IRS or any other alphabet soup, lawful, statist tool of the democratically elected, appointed, or self-appointed political hack "authorities-for-life".
10. Anything else we can think of upon a moment's notice.
You agree that upon posting information on the Feelings Thread, that if you say or do anything brilliant, we retain all rights to your thoughts.
These terms of use are backed by the World Court of public opinion, which obviously has more authority that any limited, objective court of law. |
