this patch addresses shutdown issues... i know that some folks are having win98 shutdown probs. recently i have received a pm or two along these lines. i'm fortunate enough to not have this prob. the enclosed link pcworld.com is for one of pcworld's most popular (44k+) file downloads, the Windows 98 Shutdown Supplement, and it may fix up some of those mean old win98 hang probs. :) mark
