I am doing exactly what you are doing, taking a percentage of profit from the gain in stocks to buy call options, specifically Bull Spreads.

It has worked very well as long as the market is going up, in case of a bear condition, I would still get out with my shirt ON, hopefully...,

Micheal, Jmac and Jack on this thread are good with options, I am learning a great deal from them, maybe from you in the future as well,
keep posting please.
