Mr Bradley Jones reports
Following are Stealth's drilling results from drill holes 1997-4 and
1997-5 in its 1997 diamond drilling program in the Pine zone of its core
property in northern BC in the southern part of the Toodoggone gold
district.
Previous drilling identified a large gold rich porphyry copper system
(Pine zone) indicating a geological reserve of 40 million tonnes grading
0.57 grams per tonne gold (approximately 700,000 troy ozs) and 0.15%
copper (approximately 115,000,000 lbs). Please refer to Canadian
Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, Special Volume 46,
Porphyry Deposits of the Northwestern Cordillera of North America,
edited by T.G. Schroeter, Geological Survey Branch, Ministry of Energy,
Mines & Petroleum Vancouver, BC, Canada, 1995.
The property is approximately 8km north of the Kemess gold copper
deposit which is being readied for production by Royal Oak Mines in the
second quarter of 1998.
Drill Hole 1997-4
Drill hole 1997-4, approximately 400m east of drill hole 1997-3, was
drilled at an angle of 70 degrees and to a length of 192.4m. The hole
was mineralized from 19.3m to 192.4m and samples assayed up to
215.9 grams per tonne gold, 0.32% copper and 43.4 grams per tonne
silver (over a width of 1.3m). Specific assay results are as follows:

Interval Gold Copper Width
(metres) (g/t) (%) (metres)

74.0- 75.3 215.90 0.32% 1.3
150.0-153.0 36.17 0.28% 3.0
153.0-156.0 2.17 0.25% 3.0
166.8-168.4 4.36 0.17% 1.6

Interval Silver Width
(metres) (g/t) (metres)

74.0- 75.3 43.40 1.3
150.0-153.0 16.10 3.0
153.0-156.0 4.00 3.0
166.8-168.4 4.40 1.6

From metre 90.7 to metre 192.4 for a total of 101.7m weighted average
grades returned 1.6 grams per tonne gold and 0.15% copper.
Drill hole 1997-5
Drill hole 1997-5, approximately 500m southeast of drill hole 1997-4,
was drilled at an angle of 60 degrees and to a length of 145.7m. The
hole was mineralized from 4.3m to 145.7m and samples assayed up to
0.82 grams per tonne gold (over a width of 2.2m) and 0.16% copper
(over a width of 1.5m). From metre 4.3 to metre 11.3, for a total of 7.0m,
weighted average grades returned 0.58 grams per tonne gold and
0.08% copper.
Drilling results to date have extended the Pine zone gold copper
mineralization to the west, north and south and remains open. Drill hole
1997-4 has shown exceptionally high gold values.
The drilling is continuing and future results will be released as assays
are received.
