Finally a news on "Growing DRAM demand"...Any comments? DRAMs Light A Fuse Under NEC's Profits: NEC Corp.'s net profit for its fiscal year ended March 31 more than doubled on a wave of demand for its 4-megabit and 16-megabit DRAMs. The Tokyo-based giant's net soared 119% to 77.2 billion yen, while group sales increased 17% to 4.4 trillion yen. NEC said it expects to significantly better those results in the current fiscal year, forecasting a rise to 85 billion yen. Memory chips accounted for 24% of NEC's sales and is the company's fastest-growing business segment. WILL THIS HAPPEN TO MICRON? ... BKS
