Mike: I posted a few comments regarding SGV on the SGV only tread but it died down due to lack of interest. Regarding SGV, they are pretty close to book value now. My problem is that book value is mainly their stock holdings in other SGV companies. It's like a house built on cards. One falls and others follows. Their companies are doing terrible because they have nothing to show for all the money they have. No doubt management has underperformed. A bit of a rise today I think due to news releases on Haiti from yesterday. Remember what happened to the CUBA promotion (supposed to be the next Bre-X). They have a lot of money and no results yet is the bottomline!
