To Thread, I called BLD Investor Relations today. I asked when they anticipated being in the black. The answer (with all the usual qualifications) is 2001.

Which application will generate revenue first?

Stationary power, then buses, then cars. They expect the revenue from stationary power to be generated through their alliance with GPU.

Why don't we hear more about stationary power in the press?

The stationary power subsidiary is a private firm and very focused. She didn't seem to really know how to answer this question.

Can their stationary power be price competitive?

Initially only in niche markets: replacements for UPSs, power in remote locations. They think deregulation will benefit them - I believe because it may open up the possiblility of off grid power generation for remote locations.

When will the Chicago buses be delivered?

October

The BC buses?

Over the winter.

Does anybody live near GPU? It would be nice to have someone grill them.

If anyone has follow-up questions, let me know. I'll call her back.

Bill
