My goal would be would move away from the *YLD and CEF's over time. Take the divs and sale of the above and put them to work in more "boring" and safer equities. To keep the income stream where I need it and make the portfolio a little more boring and safer.

Since I am planning on "retiring" at the end of next year (young, will be 46 !), and don't need the income for the following 5 years or so, I am hoping to make that transition slowly and smoothly.
