Please note that there was no question mark at the end of my sentence. Hence, my statement was rhetorical. Yes, I fully understand math. What I don't understand is how that is reconciled with your post that plainly states:

Food price increases barely register on the inflation scale. Consider that less than 4% of disposable income is spent on groceries.

I would also note that your referenced link is only for full data through 2006. I would further suggest that the largest commodities moves have happened in full year 2007, as noted by my 2007 link to USDA price averages of milk, through 2007.
