Oral, I read Bill's post again, and realized that they were reporting on events in Plano, TX, which helps me to understand what is going on. Plano is an affluent suburb of Dallas, that is mainly home for New Yorkers that moved there when J.C. Penney moved it's headquarters nearby. Along with those people, came other people from large megaplexes, that work for companies that sell to, or are otherwise connected to,JCP.
Even before that, when the situation in Detroit caused the exodus to Texas in the early 80's, Texas was invaded by urbanites that have caused more problems than they, or their money, is worth.
That foolishness can not be blamed on the Texans. It is the same kind of situation when someone from Iowa, moves to Austin, Tx, and uses the alias of Tiger Paw on SI. Don't blame Texas for that SOB. |
