Ned, I have in-laws in Iowa and have been there many times. Being an ex farm boy myself, I enjoy the fragrances of country living. The way some of those hog operations treat their livestock is something else, though.

I also would vote to move the plant as long as it would be a net plus for us LPs and for GRNO. I hope and expect the plant to get permitted before it could be moved. It really should have been moved long ago if there was money to do it.

The legal and political system of the state of South Carolina as a whole doesn't give a damn about stench, air quality, or public health. The state of SC is a tobacco producing state.

The Charleston area is sensitive to job creation and loss. There is an article in today's paper about the loss of more jobs.

There have been a series of articles in that paper about the typical problems most cities face because of lack of tax base. Bond issues, school funding, bridge and road building are on going problems that would be alleviated by vigorous, tax paying industry.

I think Charleston is a delightful place to visit and wouldn't like to see GRNO move. But I am as fed up as anybody.

Charles
